Não parece mas o The Apples in Stereo já está na estrada desde 1994(!). Mas os caras só foram conhecer o gosto da fama mundial em Agosto de 2009, quando a música ENERGY fez parte de um comercial da Pepsi. Daí em diante todo mundo queria saber que música era aquela e que banda estava por trás daquele som tão animado! Não se engane com esses rostinhos enrugados, os caras são super pra cima e fazem um som pra lá de animado, cheio de fôlego! Recentemente eles lançaram seu sétimo álbum, o Travellers in Space and Time, e o single escolhido, Dance Floor, já pode ser ouvido em algumas rádios alternativas do Brasil (como a OiFM). E a coisa não para por aí, o ator Elijah Wood (o eterno Frodo de O Senhor dos anéis), que apadrinhou a banda em 2006 quando eles foram contratados pela gravadora Simian Records (selo musical cujo Elijah é dono), é a estrela do videoclipe de Dance Floor, que você curte neste post e na rádio do blog (e, na boa, esse som é super gostoso!
